As President and CEO of Detechtion Technologies, Chris Smith brings passion and experience to building teams, refining business plans, and assuring their execution. He is a technology entrepreneur who has founded, launched, and grown companies in partnership with private equity, venture capital, and private investors. Chris brings over 20 years of executive experience in software, services, and international manufacturing to Detechtion. He has been active on numerous boards, including non-profits. He earned an Economics degree from Wake Forest University.

Shannon Ayers is the Chief Financial Officer at Detechtion Technologies, bringing over two decades of financial leadership experience across various industries, including SaaS, AI-powered analytics, and medical technology. Before joining Detechtion, Shannon served as CFO at Sign In Solutions and Stratifyd, where he played a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and operational efficiency. His career also includes executive roles at PrecisionLender and SonaCare Medical, where he developed and executed financial strategies that supported significant business growth. Shannon's expertise spans financial management, corporate governance, and strategic planning, making him an invaluable asset to Detechtion's leadership team.

As the CTO of Detechtion Technologies, Virgil Haney leads the company’s strategic technology direction and R&D. Prior to joining Detechtion, he co-founded Enbase Energy Technology in 2009, which merged with Detechtion in 2016. An entrepreneur at heart, he also previously founded/co-founded several other startups. Virgil brings over 25 years of executive experience in technology leadership to Detechtion. He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering and BA in Computer Science from Rice University.

Doug Rauenzahn is the Vice President of Product. In this role, Mr. Rauenzahn manages the Product department while overseeing strategic priorities and market expansions of Detechtion’s entire product suite, including Enbase, Enalysis, and Fieldlink. Doug has over 25 years of experience in technology businesses including most recently running the Theta Automation & Optimization software business at ChampionX as Senior Business Director. Prior to joining Theta, he held various roles in Weatherford’s Production Optimization software business including leading product management and global business development. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo.

 Frederic Dessureault serves as the Vice President of Services at Detechtion Technologies, where he is responsible for the successful delivery and implementation of the company’s product lines. With over 20 years of industry experience, Frederic has held significant technical and management roles, including positions at Schlumberger and Owens Corning. His expertise encompasses various fields, including oil and gas production and services implementation. Frederic earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from the École de technologie supérieure in Montreal, Canada and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta.

Tim Lozier is the Vice President of Marketing at Detechtion Technologies, where he brings over 15 years of experience in B2B marketing within the tech industry. Tim specializes in launching and growing tech products through strategic branding, integrated inbound marketing, and go-to-market strategies. Before joining Detechtion, Tim held leadership roles at companies like Fluxx and Trackforce Valiant, where he successfully drove demand, optimized marketing operations, and led product launches. Known for his hands-on approach and thought leadership, Tim is passionate about driving growth and elevating brand presence in competitive markets.

Corey Scott - VP, Sales.jpg - Corey Scott serves as the Vice President of Sales at Detechtion Technologies, where he brings extensive experience in SaaS sales within the oil and gas industry. He is recognized for driving significant revenue growth and leading high-performing sales teams. Before joining Detechtion, Corey was the VP of Sales - Business Automation at Enverus, where he played a key role in integrating sales and operations teams while fostering strong customer relationships. His previous experience includes a leadership role at Red Dog Systems, where he successfully expanded the company’s market presence. Corey is passionate about enhancing business scalability and optimizing the customer experience, ensuring sustained success for the organization.

Patty Niemi is the Senior Human Resources Manager at Detechtion Technologies, bringing over a decade of HR experience to the role. She specializes in employee relations, policy implementation, and employment law compliance. Before joining Detechtion, Patty held progressive HR leadership positions at Vallourec - North America, where she managed HR operations across multiple locations and supported both domestic and expatriate employees. As a United States Air Force Veteran, Patty’s disciplined approach and positive attitude have been instrumental in fostering a supportive work environment. Her extensive experience in human resources ensures that Detechtion continues to attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Patricia Nguyen has served as the Controller at Detechtion Technologies since 2018, where she oversees financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the company’s U.S. and Canadian entities. Patricia has been instrumental in streamlining financial processes, accelerating the month-end close cycle, and implementing policies that improve financial reporting and internal controls. With over a decade of experience in financial management, she brings expertise in compliance, cash flow management, and regulatory oversight. Prior to Detechtion, Patricia held key financial roles at Inhance Technologies and Solarcraft, where she honed her skills in financial consolidation, strategic budgeting, and team leadership.
