Detechtion Reports Strong New Customer Acquisition to Kick Off 2020

Strong adoption of Detechtion products underscores opportunity for immediate cost savings

HOUSTON, TX (May 28, 2020) – Detechtion Technologies, the proven Asset Performance Management, Industrial IoT, and Mobile Field Services Management solution provider in the Upstream Oil & Gas industry, today announced strong new customer acquisition to kick off 2020 with seven new customers added since the start of the year.

The new customers span a broad cross section of the Upstream Oil & Gas industry from producers (including a supermajor) to contract compression and vapor recovery unit (VRU) companies to oilfield services companies in both the U.S. and Canada. The one thing these different companies have in common is their understanding of the operational efficiencies that Detechtion products can deliver to their respective businesses, allowing them to lower the cost of operating their oilfield assets while maintaining or even enhancing their level of production or service. These new customers purchased products across Detechtion’s entire portfolio of cloud-based software products built specifically to digitally transform the oilfield.

“While we value the strong relationships we have with many of our longstanding customers, we are also pleased to have so many new companies see the value that Detechtion can bring to their business,” said Chris Smith, President and CEO of Detechtion. “And we’re even more excited to see an increasing number of our customers using our products together.”

One new customer followed an increasingly common trend of purchasing Enalysis, Detechtion’s SaaS asset performance management software for compressor fleet management and optimization, with Enbase edge devices to remotely monitor their natural gas compressors and feed operating data to Enalysis. This solves the frequent challenge in the oilfield of data acquisition for critical operating data needed to perform analysis and optimization. Other new customers purchased Enbase for monitoring production chemical tanks and Fieldlink for automating field worker business processes.

“In these turbulent times dealing with the global impacts of COVID-19 and a rapidly deteriorating price of oil, it is a great reminder that Detechtion products can help deliver very immediate benefits and cost savings to our customers’ businesses,” added Kirk Hanes, SVP of Global Sales for Detechtion. “Now more than ever our industry is demanding automated, digital processes so they can operate more efficiently. And Detechtion is answering that call.”
